The United States–Sri Lanka Graphite Summit 2026 will be held on 27–28 April 2026 at the University of Peradeniya. The summit brings together leading experts from the United States and Sri Lanka to strengthen collaboration across the graphite supply chain, from upstream geology and exploration to downstream mining, processing, and value addition.

The summit aims to advance scientific understanding of Sri Lanka’s vein graphite deposits, build long-term US–Sri Lanka research and industry partnerships, and explore innovation and responsible development pathways in the graphite sector.

The event will provide a valuable platform for academic dialogue, research collaboration, and industry engagement between the two countries.

The JETRO Career Awareness Program will be conducted on 25th February 2026 at the University of Peradeniya. This session aims to inform and attract Sri Lankan professionals for white-collar employment opportunities in Japan.

The programme will provide valuable information on career pathways and recruitment prospects in Japan. Interested participants are requested to register using the link provided in the flyer.
