Second online meeting with National Cheng Kung University (NCKU), Taiwan

The second online meeting with National Cheng Kung University (NCKU), Taiwan, was held on 19th January 2021, in order to enlighten the students of University of Peradeniya with opportunities for higher education, student life at NCKU, and other interesting information on NCKU.

Representatives from International Students Affairs Division introduced the NCKU scholarship opportunities and Ms. Sriyani Padmalatha, PhD student at NCKU shared her experience about the student life at NCKU. Two speeches on “Materials by design: Amazing materials and where to find them” and “CollegeX Introduction” were done by Assistant Professor Yu, Chi-Hua, Department of Engineering Science and Assistant Professor Huang, Chung-Ching, College of Planning and Design, NCKU respectively.

Representing University of Peradeniya, Prof. Shameen Jinadasa, Director, International Relations Office, Prof. Nimal Dharmasena, Director, Career Guidance Unit and Dr. Sarath Rathnayake, Faculty of Allied Health Sciences participated for this online meeting. Many interested participants including students across the faculties of University of Peradeniya joined in this program.
