Remarks | Successfully completed IFN001 Advanced Information Research Skills (4/12/2015) and stage two (first milestone at QUT on 07/12/2015) while based on QUT, Brisbane for the first six months of the study. The confirmation of the candidature (second milestone at QUT on 29/08/2016) report and presentation was held at PGIHS, University of Peradeniya on arrival of the QUT supervisors and examiners to Sri Lanka and approved the candidature with no revisions, satisfying the Supervisory Team and Faculty of both universities. Published "Industrial Upgrading in the Apparel Value Chain and the Role of Designer in the Transition: comparative analysis of Sri Lanka and Hong Kong" (Gopura, S., Payne, A., Buys, L.) literature paper on Asia Pacific Journal of Multidisciplinary Research, Vol. 4, No. 4, November 2016. Completed the data collection of the study and currently working with supervisory team on data analysis for next publications. |
