Information Sessions Scholarship and funds (DAAD) - Ph.D.

The information session regarding the higher studies opportunities, scholarships, and funds in Germany was conducted on 31st March 2022 with the participation of more than 80 participants. The information session was organized by the International Relations Office with the support of the German Academic Exchange Service. Ms. Anuroopa Dixit, Programme Officer, German Academic Exchange Service, and Mr. Nadeesha Ranganath Palliyaguru, Sri Lanka Representative, German Academic Exchange Service participated as the resource persons for the session.
The participants were welcomed by the Director, International Relations Office followed by the presentation and 30 minutes Q&A session conducted by Ms. Anuroopa Dixit, Programme Officer, German Academic Exchange Service. DAAD Scholarship and other funding for PhDs in Germany were mainly discussed at the session and the session included how to apply for PhDs in Germany, terms, and conditions, tips for the application, and other important information like funding portals and how to find prospective supervisors.
